Saltfish and Ackee
Prior to lunch the other day, I had only heard of saltfish and ackee through books, namely White Teeth by Zadie Smith. I rectified this unfortunate position by ordering takeout from THE Jamaican restaurant in town, Caribbean Twist. I’ve been going to the Richmond Night Market ever since I was little. It seems that it gets bigger and better every year. It runs every friday, saturday and sunday during the summer.
